At Payao Medical Hemp Academy, learning is shaped through four perspectives: Aroma, Touch, Observe, and Feel.
These perspectives form the foundation of study, connecting hemp fundamentals, cultivation and harvest, Budtending, and extraction across the credit-based learning courses.

Learning plant characteristics and changes through aroma
Noticing changes
Aroma changes through the stages of flowering, harvest, drying, and storage. Learning to notice these changes becomes part of understanding the plant.
Comparing characteristics
Aroma characteristics vary depending on the variety, plant condition, and storage environment. Comparing these differences helps build a clearer sense of plant quality and condition.
Remembering aroma
Smelling aroma during cultivation and quality checks becomes one practical clue for understanding plant characteristics and changes over time.
PCJ CREDIT-BASED LEARNING SYSTEM
Payao Medical Hemp Academy organizes its curriculum into a 20-credit learning system. The curriculum is divided into four official learning areas: Medical Hemp Foundation, Cultivation & Harvest Practicum, Budtending, and Extraction.
Course Programs
Payao Medical Hemp Academy offers several course programs depending on the student's learning period, purpose, and level of involvement.
1 Month Learning Course
Credit-basedDesigned to complete the full 20-credit curriculum in one continuous stay.
1 Week Learning Course
Credit-basedDesigned to complete the full 20-credit curriculum through four separate 1-week learning periods.
3 Days Learning Course
Credit-basedDesigned to complete the full 20-credit curriculum through ten separate 3-day learning periods.
Budtending Course
Program-basedFocuses on flower observation, aroma, structure, quality, personal differences, and communication.
Extraction Course
Program-basedFocuses on extraction methods, decarboxylation, dosage calculations, formulation basics, and quality control.
Introductory Experience Courses
No creditsDesigned to provide a first look at Payao Medical Hemp Academy’s learning areas. These courses are not included in the credit system.
Examples: 3 Days / 1 Day
Students in the 1 Week and 3 Days Learning Courses may continue their learning over multiple visits.
Learning Areas — PCJ 20-credit system (A–D)
Foundational understanding that supports all PCJ study.
Hands-on study from seeding through harvest and quality check.
Turning flower observation and understanding into dialogue and guidance.
Studying raw components and processing from a numbers-and-quality perspective.

B · CULTIVATION & HARVEST PRACTICUM — 13 CREDITS

| Seedling Stage | 2 credits | Observation and care during the early growth stage. |
| Vegetative Stage | 3 credits | Hands-on learning of plant growth, environment, and daily management. |
| Flowering Stage | 3 credits | Observation of flowering development, quality changes, and cultivation management. |
| Harvest | 3 credits | Harvest timing, handling, basic post-harvest observation, and quality check. |
| Total | 13 credits | Core cultivation and harvest practicum |
How Credits Are Awarded

Credits are not granted by attendance alone.
Credits are valid for two years from the date of approval.
